Dan Anderson, General Manager of All-Color Powder Coating, Inc., volunteered his time at the Summer Manufacturing Camp at Triton College in Chicago, IL.  He talked about the importance of powder coating in the manufacturing process and introduced our Simspray Virtual Reality powder coating machine. 

The kids were excited to pick their own color and part and it was interesting to watch the different techniques the kids used to coat them.  One of the kids in the group was very interested in getting the highest score and quickly figured out how the tool worked and what he needed to do to coat a good part.  He’ll be a great powder coater one day! 

The virtual reality tool was an awesome way to introduce the younger generation to this part of the manufacturing world and we’ll be participating in several other camps throughout the summer.
